Drama

The Drama program at Prosser gives students the opportunity to take two years of drama classes, which focus on the foundations of acting, character development, improv, scene study, script writing and monologue work, among other aspects of theater arts.

Through relationships with Steppenwolf, Chicago Shakespeare Theater and Victory Gardens, students have the opportunity to work with resident artists in their classes at Prosser and see professional productions of theatrical works multiple times throughout their time as drama students.

Under the direction of Ms. Thom, drama students have the additional opportunity to participate in Chicago Shakespeare Slam, the Prosser Players, and the August Wilson Monologue Competition annually.
