Prosser Community Garden & Chicago Farm Lab

The Prosser Community Garden was the brainchild of Prosser Science teacher Marnie Ware, who worked in collaboration with community members to bring her idea into being. Sitting on a two-acre plot to the north of our school building, the garden is a true teaching and learning space, which is utilized by Prosser teachers with their students, as well as teachers and students from surrounding schools.

Community members also have plots within the garden, which is also home to chickens, bees and fruit-bearing trees.

The garden is also the home of Chicago Farm Lab, a nonprofit organization that connects Chicago's northwest side families to nature and urban agriculture. Click here for more information about Chicago Farm Lab.
