IB DP Information

The International Baccalaureate Diploma Program is a challenging college preparatory sequence for academically qualified students.  IBDP students take four years of English, history, mathematics, science, and a world language. They also take an IB fine arts course and Theory of Knowledge. These courses prepare them for IB exams in May of their senior year. Scores on these examinations qualify students for the prestigious IB Diploma and also allow students to earn college credit in high school.

Check out the following flyers and videos to find out more about what IB is and what it looks like at Prosser!  Prosser actually has two IB programmes, the IB Diploma and the IB Career Programme.  These flyers and videos outline both programmes and how Prosser IB students select which program to continue with during their freshmen year.

  • IB Math - we love Mrs. Jennings!

Every year, IB seniors reflect on their experiences in an exit survey.  Here’s what they’ve said!

  • “IB is an awesome program! The hard work was all worth it!
  • “IB taught me a lot about the future ahead.”
  • “Being in the IB program helped me learn how to do college-level work.”
  • “It was a fun experience—hectic, frustrating, but fun! I just hope that others get the great opportunity we had. Thanks to all the teachers for being there and supporting us.”
  • “I loved it! Thank you so much!!!”
