Chess Club

 

At Prosser, there are currently multiple chess options for students.

 

Mr. Maples meets with students on Wednesdays after school for casual play, and Mr. Ocol -- who has followed a group of his students from Ella Flagg Young to Prosser -- meets on Saturday mornings for more competitive coaching. 

 

Traveling with Mr. Ocol and his team from Ella Flagg Young, Lyniah Stewart and Aaliyah Johnson represented Prosser at national competition in Maryland in December 2022!
