January 10, 2022 -- No Classes

Prosser Students & Families,

As you may know, some schools are currently staffed in a way that will allow students to participate in classes in-person. As I shared on Thursday, it is important to understand that each school has unique circumstances, resources and staff presence right now.

Safety continues to be our number one priority. We still do not anticipate having the staff needed to safely offer meaningful programming or to allow for student attendance on Monday, January 10. For this reason, the building will remain closed.

If and when we do have enough staff to safely provide learning opportunities, we will share our plan to welcome students back into the building. In the meantime, continue watching the news and checking your email for updates.

Prosser provides weekly COVID surveillance testing for students and testing will still occur on Monday, January 10 from 1 until 3:30 p.m. Students are welcome to come to Prosser for their test during that time. Additionally, Metropolitan Family Services is hosting a vaccination event at 3249 North Central from 9 til noon on Saturday, January 8.

We will be in touch again on Monday afternoon.

Best wishes for your health and wellness and a quick return to school soon,

Principal Shimon
