What is an Academic Interventionist?

Our goal is for students to learn so much while they are here at Prosser and sometimes learning involves struggle. Students may struggle to stay organized or to manage their time. They may not have space or time to study outside of school, and they may struggle with complex concepts in some classes.

At Prosser, we are lucky to have Ms. Aguilar - a dedicated academic interventionist, who works directly with students who struggle in these ways and who coordinates a team of teachers and staff members to imagine multi-tiered systems of support for students.

Our interventionist also hosts study hall during lunch periods on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

Students will find Ms. Aguilar happy to meet them in the Library to help them get back on track!
