8th Period Teachers:
Please accept my sincere apologies for the late notice regarding tomorrow’s 8th-period assembly. We truly appreciate your flexibility.
The Essentials:
Who: 11th and 12th Grade Students.
When: Tuesday, March 10, during 8th Period.
Action: Please take attendance first, then send 11th/12th graders to the North Gym. 12th Grade students will sit on the east side of the NG and 11th Grade students will sit on the west side of NG.
Mixed Grade Classes: If you have a mixed class, please remain in your room with the 9th/10th graders while the upperclassmen attend the assembly.
Why It Matters: We are hosting a powerful presentation on distracted driving. Our goal is for students to walk away with four vital lessons:
Avoid Distractions: Steer clear of phone/passenger interference.
Focus: Keep undivided attention on the road.
No Texting: A zero-tolerance policy for texting while driving.
Know Your Limits: Awareness of skill levels and setting boundaries.
