Cabinet Making

This course teaches students wood working skills in order to correctly and safely construct tables, cabinets and useful furniture. What this shop prepares the students is the understanding the wood making industry apprenticeship program 4year program working and learning. A statement from the teacher, "I want students who have the desire to learn. Being a carpenter for over 12 years. I can teach students the correct operation of hand power tools and equipment. It is fun to build and construct."

As we can see the shop is also fully equipped for any kinds of projects.

Specifications:

• As Sophomores the students make cartoon cut outs; coat rack, wall-shack, clocks, paper towel holder.
  
  
• As Juniors the students make mission style coffee table, bookcases, end tables.
  
  
• As Seniors the students make television cabinet, china cabinet, tall bookcases.

Students sometimes choose to do other projects in their free time, that is also fine.
