Why We Can't
Although most of us students may dream of going to restaurants and having a vast amount of choices to replenish our bodies during on lunch period....we are imprisoned in the walls of the cafeteria. Why? The fact is: most high school students can not be trusted. Its a sad fact but nonetheless, a fact. Teachers and school officials have a responsibility to us and our parents to insure our safety while we aren't home. How can they do that if we aren't in their eyesight? As a senior, I would LOVE to be able to eat out but there are students, even in the senior class, that would take advantage of that privelege. So, as devastating as it may seem to us now, having a closed campus isn't the end of the world.
