8th Grade Open House is November 14, 2008 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Parents and students applying to Prosser should take advantage of this opportunity to meet the Administration and tour the school.

Applications for the 2008-2009 School Year are due by December 19, 2008.

Download and mail in your complete application to the attention of the "Freshman Admissions Office." Each application must include copies of a current 8th grade report card and complete cumulative card or transcript.

Application in the International Baccalaureate Program and Prosser Honors is considered if percentile is at or above 60% according to 7th grade ISAT scores.

Prosser is an Education to Career Academy on Chicago's NW Side. Unlike a neighborhood school, Prosser selects students from all over the city.

Last year over 3,500 students applied of which 370 were accepted.

Students will be notified by mail in February whether or not they will be accepted. Students who are accepted for the fall will confirm their decision to attend Prosser by mail. In this mailing parents and students will select one of the April dates to come to Prosser and register for the fall.

Parents/students who fail to confirm their decision to attend Prosser in the spring will lose their slot.

In August incoming freshmen will attend a three day orientation prior to the start of the school year.
